Parahydroxybenzoates are members of a preservative family widely used in the beauty, pharmaceutical and food industries. Sulphates, especially SLS, are cleansing agents found in products such as toothpaste, bubble bath, shaving foam, shampoo and others. To avoid allergic reactions, these ingredients have been replaced with other, less allergenic components.
